About the Event
Results: We had over 100 attendees from Veterans to Vietnamese youth, and people all of ethnicities of Minnesota.
With over 30 exhibits including paintings, craft work to classical instruments, traditional clothing, we were able to provide a large amount on interest and education.
The movie were well received form everyone, and many people asked for a screening for their own organization.
The Vietnamese Minnesotan Museum (VBT-VMM) is honored to present the documentary film "50 Years in Retrospect".
This documentary revisits the journey of Vietnamese individuals who left behind their homeland, families, possessions, and even risked their lives in pursuit of freedom and escape from communism. The film features stories, images, and lived experiences of those who fled by land and sea, resettling in different countries across the globe over the past 50 years.
